MOTOR CONTROL CENTERS (MCC)

Motor Control Centres:  MCC panels is used to control various motor applications from a centralized location with manual and automatic operational capability. MCCs are usually of Air Circuit Breakers as incomer, and MCCB / Switch Fuse Unit, overload relays, contractors, motor starter, automatic on/off unit etc as outgoing.  Fixed, draw out type ACB with front and back draw out can be constructed which will minimize operational downtime and a high degree of personnel safety. These MCC’s are widely used for the purpose to reduce the starting voltage, reverse controlling, and protection against overload and single phasing faults.
